To ensure sustainable development in education in the south west Region, the Development Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN) Commission, visited the EKOEXCEL training Centre to understudy the education transformation initiative of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu's administration, which is aimed at bridging the gap in quality education delivery, through the use of technological devices in public primary school pedagogy.
The Executive Chairman LASUBEB, Hon Wahab Alawiye-King explained that the visit of the Commission to Lagos State, is to explore the possibilities of replicating the EKOEXCEL teaching methodology for instructional classroom delivery in the South West Region.
Mrs. Oluyomi Agge, a Senior Staff Associate, DAWN Commission delegated for the visit, applauded the Lagos State Government for introducing the EKOEXCEL initiative into basic education in the State.
“Education in Lagos State has taking a new system, I admire both the theory and practical aspects of it and I am encouraged to share this experience with other States” she said.
